Solar Panel Charge Controller Goal Zero 96110 14-23V 20A IP65
Solar Panel Charge Controller Goal Zero 96110 14-23V 20A IP65
The Goal Zero 96110 Solar Panel Charge Controller regulates and monitors solar input for 12V battery systems. It accepts a charging voltage range of 14–23V and supports a maximum output current of 20A. The controller includes an integrated High Power Port for direct connection to compatible Goal Zero Boulder 200 solar panels, a clear LED display for status monitoring, and an IP65 rating for dust and water resistance, making it suitable for outdoor and off-grid installations. Note: this unit is not compatible with the Yeti X Power Supply.
The 20 Amp Charge Controller provides regulated charging for 12V batteries up to 20A, preventing overcharge and improving battery health. Its built-in High Power Port simplifies connection to Goal Zero Boulder 200 panels, while the LED screen gives straightforward status information. The IP65 enclosure offers protection against dust and water spray, supporting reliable outdoor use. Compact dimensions make it easy to mount in varied setups.
Connect the controller’s High Power Port to a compatible Goal Zero Boulder 200 solar panel. To charge a 12V battery, purchase the Spade to SAE Cable and the appropriate SAE adapter—either SAE to Ring Terminal or SAE to Alligator Clip—to connect the controller to your battery terminals. Ensure the panel wattage and configured battery are within the controller’s 14–23V and 20A limits. The LED screen will display charging status and allow monitoring of input and output conditions. Do not connect to a Yeti X Power Supply.
For systems under 100 watts, consider the 10 Amp Charge Controller; use this 20 Amp model for solar arrays above 100 watts but within the controller’s current and voltage ratings. Install the controller in a sheltered location when possible and use appropriate cable sizes and secure connections to minimize voltage drop and ensure safe operation.
