• Integrating auxiliary batteries into solar generator setups
• Expanding energy storage for off-grid power systems

When it may not be suitable

This cable may not be suitable if your specific power station model lacks compatibility with the MP120 connection standard or if you are working with lithium-based auxiliary batteries instead of 12V lead acid types. Additionally, it cannot function as a standalone connection when linking multiple batteries without the corresponding male cable component.

Key specifications

• Cable length: 0.6 meters
• Color coding: Black and red
• Compatibility: Goal Zero Yeti Power Station
• Terminal type: MP120 to Ring Terminal

How to use

To use the Goal Zero MP120 to Ring Terminal cable, ensure that your power station and batteries are powered off and disconnected from any charging sources. Connect the ring terminals securely to the appropriate positive and negative posts of the 12V lead acid battery. Then, plug the MP120 connector into the designated input port on your compatible Goal Zero Yeti Power Station, keeping in mind that the Male EC8 to Ring Terminal Cable is also required when linking multiple batteries for capacity expansion. Double-check all connections for security before resuming normal operation.

What to consider before purchase

• Verify that your power station model is fully compatible with the MP120 connector type
• Check the battery type to ensure you are using 12V lead acid batteries
• Confirm whether you need the complementary male cable component for your specific multi-battery configuration

Always inspect the cable insulation and terminals for any signs of wear or damage prior to each use, and store the cable in a dry environment when not in use to maintain optimal performance.
