Fuel Hose Godmar AMI-G07988 rubber reinforced 3-layer Ø4 mm per 1 m (10 m roll)
Reinforced rubber fuel hose Godmar AMI-G07988 is a 3-layer fuel line with an internal reinforcement and a nominal internal diameter of 4 mm, supplied by the meter from a 10 m roll. The hose is designed for low-pressure fuel transfer in small engines and garden equipment where a compact, flexible and oil-resistant line is required. Its construction combines an inner rubber layer for fuel compatibility, a reinforcement layer for dimensional stability and an outer rubber cover for abrasion and weather resistance.
The 3-layer rubber-reinforced design provides improved resistance to fuel permeation and external wear while maintaining flexibility for tight routing. A 4 mm internal diameter offers a compact solution compatible with many small-engine fittings and garden machinery connections. Sold per meter from a longer roll, the hose allows precise length selection and reduces waste when repairing or replacing short runs of fuel line.
Cut the hose to the required length using a sharp hose cutter to ensure a clean, square end. Fit the hose onto compatible fuel fittings or nipples, making sure the hose seats fully on the barb. Use appropriate hose clamps sized for a 4 mm inner diameter to secure connections and prevent leaks. When installing, route the hose away from hot surfaces and moving parts; avoid sharp bends that could kink the line. Inspect fittings and hose ends after initial operation to confirm there are no leaks.
Use the hose only in low-pressure fuel systems and with fuels compatible with rubber materials. Replace any hose that shows cracking, hardening or signs of fuel permeation. For safety, perform periodic inspections of clamps and routing, and ensure adequate clearance from exhaust components and moving blades or belts.
