Networking Cable Goobay RJ-45 CAT7 3m Orange S/FTP
Networking Cable Goobay RJ-45 CAT7 3m Orange S/FTP
The Goobay RJ-45 CAT7 3m Orange S/FTP networking cable is a 3-metre patch cable designed for high-performance Ethernet connections. It features S/FTP shielding with pairs in metal foil (PIMF) and an additional braided outer shield, a molded slim-line strain relief with length indication, and gold-plated 50 µ contacts. The cable uses standard RJ-45 connectors on both ends and is Cat7 tested up to 600 MHz, making it suitable for demanding data transmission in home and office networks.
The S/FTP construction (pairs in metal foil plus overall braid) reduces crosstalk and external electromagnetic interference, helping to maintain signal integrity over the full 3 m length. Gold-plated 50 µ contacts provide corrosion resistance and a reliable low-resistance connection. The slim-line molded strain relief ensures compatibility with patch panels and prevents cable damage at the connector, while the orange jacket makes the cable easy to identify in structured cabling environments.
Connect one RJ-45 connector to the network device (router, switch, computer or patch panel) and the other connector to the corresponding port. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until the latch clicks to secure the connection. When routing the cable through racks or conduits, avoid sharp bends and excessive pulling force to preserve shielding and the integrity of the molded strain relief.
For optimal performance, use this CAT7 S/FTP cable for short to medium patch runs up to 3 m in length, keep the cable away from strong sources of electromagnetic interference, and verify connector seating in high-density patch panels to prevent accidental disconnections.
