Patch cable GOOBAY CAT 6A S/FTP (PiMF) 20 m, RJ-45 to RJ-45, black
GOOBAY CAT 6A S/FTP (PiMF) patch cable, 20 m, with RJ-45 connectors on both ends and gold-plated contacts. The cable features individually foil-shielded pairs plus an overall braided shield to minimise crosstalk and external electromagnetic interference, and a halogen-free (LSZH) sheath with copper conductors for reliable signal transmission. Designed for high-speed Ethernet including 10 Gigabit networks, it is suitable for structured cabling in server rooms, workstations and other network equipment interconnects where stable, high-bandwidth connections are required.
The S/FTP (PiMF) construction provides pair-level foil shielding combined with an overall braided shield to reduce near-end and far-end crosstalk and protect against external noise sources. Gold-plated RJ-45 contacts ensure corrosion resistance and consistent contact quality, while the 20 m length allows flexible placement of network devices without additional couplers. The LSZH outer sheath reduces harmful gas emissions in case of fire and the solid copper conductors deliver low attenuation and stable high-frequency performance.
Connect one RJ-45 plug to the network port of a switch, patch panel or router and the other plug to the target device such as a server, PC or wall outlet. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until a click confirms engagement. Avoid tight bending radii and do not stretch the cable; route it away from power lines and large electrical equipment to minimise potential interference. For permanent installations, use appropriate cable management like cable trays or ties to prevent mechanical strain on connectors.
For optimal performance in 10 Gigabit environments, keep the cable length within recommended standards for Cat 6A and avoid running the cable parallel to unshielded power cables. When connecting sensitive equipment in high-interference areas, verify that both ends and any intermediate panels maintain the shield continuity for maximum noise suppression.
