Network cable GOOBAY 95590 Cat6 U/UTP 1.5 m, RJ-45 – Yellow
GOOBAY 95590 is a Cat6 U/UTP network cable, 1.5 m long, fitted with RJ-45 connectors on both ends and finished with a yellow outer jacket. It supports 10/100/1000Base-T(X) networks and is intended for high-speed Ethernet connections between devices such as routers, switches, patch panels and networked computers. Gold-plated contacts are used on the connectors to improve electrical contact and reduce signal loss during data transmission.
The unshielded twisted pair (U/UTP) construction provides reliable gigabit performance for typical LAN environments while keeping the cable flexible for routing in home or office setups. The Cat6 rating delivers improved crosstalk and system noise performance compared to lower category cables, supporting higher data throughput. The yellow jacket improves visibility in cable bundles and patch panels, making identification during installation and maintenance easier. Standard RJ-45 terminations ensure compatibility with common networking equipment.
Plug one RJ-45 connector into the network port of your device and the other into the corresponding port on a switch, router or patch panel. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until they click to establish a secure mechanical and electrical connection. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and sources of strong electromagnetic interference. For wall-mounted or rack-mounted installations, secure the cable with appropriate clips or ties while maintaining bend-radius recommendations for Cat6 cabling.
Use this Cat6 U/UTP cable for typical gigabit Ethernet links in residential and small business environments. For longer runs, higher bandwidth requirements, or environments with significant electromagnetic interference, consider using higher category or shielded cables and follow local structured cabling standards for best performance.
