Patch cable GOOBAY Cat 6a U/UTP, 10 m, white
GOOBAY Cat 6a U/UTP patch cable, 10 m in white, is engineered for high-performance Ethernet connections in structured cabling systems. The cable meets Cat 6a category requirements and is suitable for applications that demand reliable data transmission and bandwidth up to 10 Gbps over copper. Its U/UTP construction uses unshielded twisted pairs within an unshielded outer jacket, providing a compact flexible cable for office, server room and residential network links.
The cable supports Cat 6a performance parameters, enabling high data rates and improved crosstalk and return loss characteristics compared with lower category cables. A 10 m length offers flexibility for connecting switches, routers, patch panels and wall outlets without additional splices. The white outer jacket gives a discreet appearance and is easy to route along walls or in cable channels. The U/UTP design simplifies installation where shielded cabling is not required and reduces cost while maintaining consistent signal quality for typical Ethernet deployments.
Connect one RJ45 end of the patch cable to the network device (switch, router or server) and the other end to the corresponding port on the patch panel or wall outlet. Ensure connectors are fully inserted and the latch clicks into place to secure the connection. Route the cable to avoid tight bends and compression; maintain bend radius recommendations for twisted-pair cables to preserve performance. For best results, install in environments free of strong electromagnetic interference when possible.
Use this Cat 6a U/UTP cable for short to medium patch runs up to 10 m where shielded cabling is not necessary. Avoid routing close to high-voltage power lines or strong EMI sources. If installation requires extended runs or environments with significant electromagnetic interference, consider a shielded cable variant.
