Networking Cable Alcasa 8060-H030G Green 3m Cat6a S/FTP
The Alcasa 8060-H030G Green 3m Cat6a S/FTP networking cable by Good Connections is a 3-metre Ethernet cable designed for high-speed data transfer and reduced electromagnetic interference. It conforms to Cat6a performance parameters and uses S/FTP shielding (overall braid with individually shielded pairs) to improve signal integrity in environments with multiple cables or electronic devices. Both ends are fitted with RJ-45 connectors for straightforward plug-and-play use, and the green jacket provides a visible, colour-coded option for organised cabling runs in homes, offices, or small server racks.
S/FTP shielding reduces crosstalk and external interference, supporting stable high-bandwidth connections over the full 3 m length. The Cat6a specification enables support for 10 Gigabit Ethernet at shorter runs and improved headroom for Gigabit connections. Molded RJ-45 connectors offer reliable contact and straightforward installation without additional tools. The flexible cable jacket balances durability and manageability, allowing neat routing and colour-coded identification in multi-cable installations.
Insert one RJ-45 connector into the network port of your device and the other connector into the corresponding port on a switch, router or patch panel. Ensure connectors are fully seated until the locking tab clicks to establish a secure connection. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and sources of high electromagnetic interference; maintain gentle bend radii when dressing the cable in racks or along walls. No additional configuration is needed for standard Ethernet links; link speed and duplex are negotiated automatically by connected devices.
For optimal performance, avoid running the cable parallel to power lines over long distances and keep it separated from large electrical equipment. Use the green colour jacket to label or group related network runs for easier maintenance. Regularly inspect connectors for physical damage and replace the cable if the jacket is nicked or shielding is compromised.
