Wall-mounted cooker hood Gorenje WHI649EB, Aluminium filter, Noise level: N/A
The Gorenje WHI649EB wall-mounted cooker hood combines practical ventilation performance with a black glass and steel design suitable for contemporary kitchens. Designed for both ducted and recirculating installation, the hood delivers a maximum extraction capacity of 608 m³/h and is equipped with an aluminium grease filter and an LED light for task illumination. The unit has a fluid dynamic efficiency class B, grease filtering class C, annual energy consumption of 59.2 kWh and a connected load of 183 W with motor power of 180 W.
The Gorenje WHI649EB offers effective smoke and odour extraction up to 608 m³/h while supporting both exhaust and recirculation setups. Its glass and steel housing in black provides a low-profile modern appearance and is easy to clean. An aluminium grease filter captures airborne grease particles and can be removed for washing. Integrated LED lighting improves visibility over the cooking surface with low energy consumption. Energy-related characteristics, including a 59.2 kWh annual consumption and a B fluid dynamic efficiency class, allow for balanced performance and efficiency.
Mount the cooker hood on a suitable wall position above the hob following manufacturer spacing guidelines for safe operation and adequate capture of cooking fumes. For ducted installation, connect the 150 mm exhaust to external ventilation; for recirculating mode, fit the recommended carbon filter (sold separately) and ensure the aluminium grease filter is correctly positioned. Switch on the hood before starting to cook and adjust the extraction setting according to the intensity of cooking vapours. Use the integrated LED light to illuminate the cooking surface as needed.
Clean the aluminium grease filter regularly; it is removable and can be washed by hand or in a dishwasher following the manufacturer’s instructions. For sustained performance, inspect and replace any recirculation charcoal filters at intervals recommended by the manufacturer. Keep the external ducting unobstructed and ensure electrical installation meets local regulations. Consider operating at lower extraction settings for light cooking to reduce noise and energy consumption.
