Managed Switch Grandstream Networks GWN7806
The Grandstream Networks GWN7806 is a managed Layer 2+ Gigabit Ethernet switch with 48 RJ‑45 ports, designed for small and medium enterprises that need scalable, secure and centrally managed wired networks. It delivers a switching capacity of 216 Gbit/s and a MAC address table of 32,000 entries, and supports common IEEE networking standards for robust interoperability and network control.
The GWN7806 provides full Layer 2+ managed features including support for IEEE 802.1Q VLANs, 802.1x port authentication and redundancy standards, enabling segmented and secure network deployments. With 48 Gigabit Ethernet ports and a 216 Gbit/s switching capacity it supports high-throughput environments. Management is available via the built-in web UI with an embedded controller, the cloud-based GWN.Cloud platform, or the on‑premise GWN Manager, allowing flexible centralized provisioning, monitoring and reporting.
Install the GWN7806 in a standard equipment rack or on a stable surface, connect power and link Ethernet devices to the RJ‑45 ports. Configure basic network parameters and VLANs through the switch’s web user interface or use the embedded controller for auto discovery and provisioning of other Grandstream GWN devices. For centralized cloud management, register the switch with GWN.Cloud via the web portal or mobile app. For on‑premise control, deploy GWN Manager on your private network and add the switch to the management console.
Place the switch in a well‑ventilated rack space, keep firmware up to date, and plan VLANs and port authentication policies before deployment to ensure secure and predictable network behaviour.
