Hand saw Graphite 58G961
The Graphite 58G961 hand saw is a corded saber (reciprocating) saw designed for precision cutting of wood, metal and plastics. With a motor power of 710 W and a maximum stroke rate up to 2,800 cycles per minute, this compact tool delivers a 20 mm blade stroke and maximum cutting capacities of up to 115 mm in wood and 8 mm in steel. The saw is supplied with blades for both wood and metal and features an ergonomic soft-grip handle, a robust impact-resistant plastic housing and CE certification.
The 58G961 combines relatively high motor output with a compact design to enable effective cutting in confined or hard-to-reach places. Speed control and a stroke rate adjustable from 0 to 2,800 min⁻¹ allow matching the cutting action to the material, while the on/off switch with a lock supports continuous operation during longer tasks. The included blades for wood and metal provide immediate usability out of the box, and the ergonomic soft-covered handle reduces hand fatigue during extended use.
Before use, fit the appropriate blade for the material and secure it according to the saw's blade mounting system. Connect the saw to a suitable power supply and set the required cutting speed using the speed control to match material hardness and desired cut quality. Position the saw so the blade aligns with the cutting line and apply steady, even pressure while allowing the tool to perform the cutting strokes; do not force the saw. Use the on/off switch lock for continuous operation when performing longer cuts, and release the lock to stop the tool. After completing the cut, wait until the blade stops moving before setting the saw down and disconnecting from the power supply.
Use appropriate personal protective equipment (safety goggles, hearing protection and gloves) and secure the workpiece before cutting. Choose blades specifically designed for wood or metal for best results and replace worn blades to maintain cutting performance and safety. Ensure adequate ventilation when cutting plastics and remove debris regularly to prevent overheating of the blade and motor.
