Garden Seeder on Wheels Greenmill GR0030 — 12L Hopper, Towable Broadcast Seeder
Greenmill GR0030 — 12L Hopper, Towable Broadcast Seeder is a wheeled garden seeder designed to tow behind a small tractor, ATV or by hand on flat terrain. The 12‑liter hopper holds seed or small granular materials for one pass over lawns, vegetable beds and larger garden plots. An adjustable seed flow control and a broadcast spreading mechanism allow for even distribution of different seed sizes and small fertiliser granules.
The seeder combines a compact wheeled chassis that improves manoeuvrability with a moderate 12 L capacity that reduces downtime when treating medium-sized areas. Adjustable flow settings make it possible to adapt the spread rate to fine grass seed or coarser seed types, while the broadcast mechanism distributes material over a wide swath for faster coverage. The towable design permits connection to garden vehicles or gentle hand towing on firm surfaces.
This seeder is not intended for heavy industrial or agricultural use on very large fields where high-capacity machinery is required. It may perform less effectively on steep, very uneven or soft muddy ground because the towable wheeled chassis needs stable, firm surfaces for consistent seed distribution.
Fill the 12 L hopper with the selected seed or granular material, set the flow control to a suitable opening for the particle size and attach the seeder to the towing point of a compatible garden vehicle or position it for hand towing on firm ground. Move at a steady, moderate speed to ensure even broadcast distribution; overlap passes slightly to avoid gaps. After use, empty remaining material, brush out the hopper and spreader components and store the unit in a dry place to prevent corrosion or clogging.
For best results when sowing lawns, prepare the soil by removing debris and lightly raking to achieve a firm, level surface. Calibrate the flow control on a short test run to determine the correct setting for your seed size and travel speed, then proceed with even, overlapping passes. Regular cleaning and storage in a dry place will prolong service life.
