Hager SFT125 Modular Changeover Switch 25A 1P
The Hager SFT125 is a high-quality 1-pole modular changeover switch designed for precise and reliable electrical circuit management. Engineered for a rated current of 25A and an operating voltage of 230V, this device provides a robust solution for manually switching between two distinct power sources or electrical circuits. Its compact design is specifically optimized for standard DIN-rail mounting within electrical distribution boards, making it an essential component for maintaining power continuity in residential and commercial environments.
This modular changeover switch offers exceptional build quality and operational reliability, ensuring long-term performance in demanding electrical installations. The device facilitates seamless manual control, allowing users to safely transition between a primary power supply and an alternative source, such as a generator or secondary grid connection. Its standardized modular format ensures compatibility with most modern electrical enclosures, simplifying the installation process for professionals and ensuring a clean, organized setup within the distribution panel.
This device is not intended for automatic power transfer applications, as it requires manual intervention to change positions. It is also not suitable for three-phase electrical systems, as it is designed exclusively for single-pole, single-phase operations.
The Hager SFT125 should be installed by a qualified electrician within a standard electrical enclosure on a DIN rail. Once mounted, the input terminals are connected to the respective power sources, and the output terminal is connected to the load circuit. The switch features a clear three-position toggle (I-0-II), where position I connects the first source, position 0 is the neutral off-state, and position II connects the second source.
Always ensure the power is disconnected before performing any wiring or maintenance on the switch. Regularly inspect the connections to ensure they remain tight and free from oxidation to maintain optimal electrical conductivity.
