Charge smartphones and tablets in your car quickly and efficiently with the Hama 00201639 car charger. The silver charger supports both USB‑C and USB‑A connections and combines Power Delivery and Qualcomm® Quick Charge™ 3.0 technologies to deliver fast charging while optimising the charging process to protect the device battery. It is designed for use with a 12–24 V vehicle power socket and offers up to 38 W maximum power output.
Power Delivery and Qualcomm® Quick Charge™ 3.0 provide faster charging than conventional car chargers. The charger recognises connected devices automatically and delivers an optimised charging current. The optimised charging process reduces stress on rechargeable batteries, helping to extend battery service life. Its universal compatibility covers smartphones, tablets and power packs, and the silver finish matches most vehicle interiors.
Insert the car charger into the vehicle’s cigar lighter socket. Connect your device using a suitable USB‑C or USB‑A cable. The charger will detect the connected device and apply the appropriate fast‑charging protocol (Power Delivery or Qualcomm® Quick Charge™ 3.0) automatically. Monitor the device during the first use to verify charging behaviour and remove the charger when not in use to avoid unnecessary battery drain of the vehicle.
For optimal battery health, use a quality USB cable and avoid exposing the charger to moisture or extreme temperatures. Do not use the charger if the casing is damaged. For devices that do not support fast‑charge protocols, the charger will supply standard charging current.
