Garden mattock Haterra — 146 × 13.7 × 15 cm, manual gardening tool
Haterra garden mattock 146 × 13.7 × 15 cm is a manual gardening tool designed for digging, loosening soil and cutting small roots. With a durable carbon-steel blade and an ergonomically shaped steel handle with a PP and TPR non-slip coating in turquoise, the mattock provides precise and comfortable work. The long shaft helps maintain an ergonomic working position to reduce back strain, while the lightweight 1.085 kg construction is suitable for extended use in vegetable beds, flower borders and light landscaping.
The Haterra mattock combines a resilient carbon-steel blade with a steel shaft finished in PP/TPR for grip and durability. Its long handle length allows work in an upright posture to protect the back, and the tool’s moderate weight makes it easy to control during digging, soil aeration and weed removal. The compact head dimensions make it suitable for spot excavation and precise soil work.
Hold the mattock with both hands, placing one hand near the head for control and the other on the shaft to provide force. Use the blade to break compacted soil, chop through small roots or pry out weeds. For loosening soil, strike the ground at a shallow angle and lever the blade to lift and crumble the soil. Maintain a stable stance and use controlled movements to avoid overexertion.
Store the tool in a dry place and clean the blade after use. Inspect the handle coating regularly for wear; replace the tool if the structural integrity is compromised. Wear appropriate gloves and eye protection when cutting roots or working in stony ground.
