Lawn Edging Spade Haterra 105 x 31 x 4.5 cm — steel blade, long handle
Lawn Edging Spade Haterra 105 x 31 x 4.5 cm — steel blade, long handle
Haterra lawn edging spade with a 105 x 31 x 4.5 cm steel blade and long handle designed for slicing clean, vertical edges in turf and garden beds. The slim, durable steel blade cuts through sod and compact soil while the long T-style handle provides leverage and control for precise edging along flower beds, paths and borders.
The spade features a hardened steel head with a matte black finish for corrosion resistance and extended service life. An ergonomic TPR (thermoplastic rubber) T-handle with a turquoise accent improves grip comfort and reduces hand fatigue during prolonged use. The blade dimensions and narrow profile enable accurate vertical cuts and straightforward removal of turf strips.
This spade is intended for edging, slicing sod and light digging tasks. It is not designed for heavy-duty excavation, breaking very rocky ground, or prying large roots where a mattock or heavier digging tool would be more appropriate. Very stony or frozen soils may reduce effectiveness and increase wear.
Position the blade vertically at the desired edge line and step down on the top edge or use the leverage of the long handle to push the blade through the turf. For deeper cuts, repeat spaced steps along the line and then pry out the turf strip. Use controlled, even force and keep the blade clean of debris to maintain cutting performance and reduce corrosion risk.
For best results, cut edges when the soil is slightly moist but not waterlogged; make successive vertical cuts along the line for clean removal of turf strips and finish by tamping or backfilling the edge as needed.
