The Heckler Design H458-BG Tablet Security Enclosure is a heavy-duty stand and bracket system designed to secure 9.7-inch iPad models (iPad Air 1, Air 2, Pro 9.7, and iPad 5th/6th Gen). The enclosure captures and supports the tablet corners with steel brackets while keeping all cameras, buttons, speakers and ports accessible. It accepts Lightning and card reader cables and offers tamper-resistant stainless steel hardware with a fingerprint- and scratch-resistant powder coat finish. PivotTable is sold separately.

How to use

Place the iPad into the steel bracket so that the corners are captured and the device rests securely. Route the Lightning and any card reader cables through the bracket retainers to prevent accidental disconnection. Use the included keys to lock the enclosure. If using with a PivotTable (sold separately), install the PivotTable in the center hole for swivel functionality or in the pivot-and-slide slot to extend reach; use the supplied adhesive discs to secure the base to a countertop or allow free movement as needed. A Kensington ClickSafe Cable Lock can be attached to the base or PivotTable for additional security.

Usage recommendations

For public environments, enable iOS Guided Access to limit home-button and app access. Regularly inspect cable routing, locks and hardware for tampering and clean the powder-coat finish with a soft, damp cloth to preserve appearance.
