Thermostatic Radiator Valve Herz TS-E 1/2" Straight (gravity-operated)
Thermostatic Radiator Valve Herz TS-E 1/2" Straight (gravity-operated)
The Herz TS-E thermostatic radiator valve, straight 1/2" connection and gravity-operated design, provides automatic flow modulation to control radiator temperature within central heating systems. Designed to work together with thermostatic heads, this valve senses the thermal head position and adjusts the flow through the radiator to maintain the set room temperature. Its straight body and 1/2" connection make it suitable for standard radiator installations in residential and commercial buildings where reliable, automatic temperature control is required.
The gravity-operated mechanism ensures simple, maintenance-light operation without the need for external power. The straight 1/2" configuration offers compatibility with common radiator inlet fittings and allows straightforward installation in line with existing piping. Built for compatibility with thermostatic heads, the valve supports automatic temperature regulation that can contribute to improved energy efficiency and more stable indoor comfort when combined with properly selected thermostatic actuators.
Install the valve in place of an existing radiator inlet or on new radiator piping using the straight 1/2" connection. Fit a compatible thermostatic head onto the valve following the head manufacturer's instructions; the valve operates by responding to the thermal head position. After installation, set the desired temperature on the thermostatic head. The valve will modulate flow through the radiator automatically to keep the room close to the selected temperature. Regular visual checks for leaks and correct mounting are recommended after installation.
Use compatible thermostatic heads designed for radiator valves and ensure correct orientation and sealing during installation. For best performance, avoid placing thermostatic heads behind curtains or in direct sunlight; position them where they can sense room air temperature accurately. When replacing existing valves, match the connection size and body orientation to the radiator and piping to minimize modification work.
