Network relay module high peak J9151E SFP+ fiber optic 10000 Mbit/s
Network relay module high peak J9151E SFP+ fiber optic 10000 Mbit/s
High peak J9151E SFP+ fiber optic module provides 10 Gb/s (10000 Mbit/s) connectivity in a compact SFP+ form factor. Intended for use as an uplink or interconnect between switches, servers and storage systems in data center and enterprise networks, this transceiver supports fiber optic links for both short- and longer-distance connections where SFP+ ports are available. The module is designed for hot-swap installation and low-latency data transfer, enabling integration into existing network equipment with minimal downtime.
The J9151E module delivers 10 Gb/s throughput in a standardized SFP+ package, offering compatibility with SFP+ cages and ports on many network devices. Its fiber optic interface reduces electromagnetic interference and supports reliable data transmission over varying distances. Hot-swappable installation allows replacement or upgrade without powering down compatible equipment, and the module's compact size conserves port space while providing high-speed uplink capability.
Install the SFP+ module into an available SFP+ port on a compatible switch, server NIC or storage interface until it latches into place. Connect the appropriate fiber optic cable to the transceiver following the correct transmit/receive orientation for your cabling. Verify link status through the host device management interface or link LEDs; the module supports hot-swap, so it can be inserted or removed while the host remains powered if the equipment supports hot-plug operations. Configure network settings on the connected devices as required for speed, duplex and link aggregation or VLANs.
Use multimode or single-mode fiber and connectors that match the transceiver specifications and link distance. Ensure firmware and device compatibility by consulting your network equipment documentation. For critical links, test fiber cleanliness, connector integrity and end-to-end loss budget prior to deployment to maintain reliable 10 Gb/s performance.
