Network switch Hikvision DS-3T0306HP — Unmanaged 5×10/100 Fast Ethernet ports, PoE (IEEE 802.3af/at/bt), 48–57V DC, 4.8 Gbit/s, black
Hikvision DS-3T0306HP is an unmanaged network switch that combines five Fast Ethernet (10/100) RJ-45 ports with PoE support (IEEE 802.3af/at/bt) and extended industrial capabilities. The unit provides a 4.8 Gbit/s switching capacity, a 4,000-entry MAC address table and accepts 48–57 V DC input via a DC-in jack. Encased in a rugged aluminium alloy housing and designed for wide operating temperatures, this switch is intended for straightforward PoE deployments in small networks and industrial sites where resilient, simple connectivity is required.
The DS-3T0306HP supports power-over-Ethernet on its Fast Ethernet ports, allowing simultaneous data and power delivery to devices such as IP cameras and VoIP phones without separate power supplies. With IEEE 802.3af/at/bt compliance and per-port PD intelligent detection, the switch provides system-level overload protection and Hi‑PoE capability for higher-power devices. Industrial design elements — including a durable aluminium body, wide temperature range and surge protection — make the unit suitable for deployments in harsher environments while remaining an unmanaged, plug-and-play solution for simpler installation and operation.
Install the DS-3T0306HP on a DIN rail or secure it within a compatible enclosure, connect the DC power source (48–57 V) to the DC-in jack, and attach network devices to the RJ-45 ports. PoE devices will receive power automatically following IEEE standards and the switch’s PD detection. For fiber connectivity, use the Gigabit SFP slot and insert a compatible SFP module if fiber uplink is required. No configuration is necessary for basic operation because the unit is unmanaged; ensure cabling and connected devices comply with PoE power budgets and distance limitations.
For reliable operation, verify total PoE power requirements of connected devices against the switch’s available power budget, place the switch where ambient temperature stays within the specified -40 °C to 75 °C range, and use surge-protected power and properly shielded Ethernet cabling in industrial or outdoor-adjacent installations.
