Electric Heating Cable 150W, 12.5 m, 12 W/m (AC 230V) is a thin, constant-power underfloor heating cable designed to deliver even heat distribution in indoor spaces. With a 3.6 mm outer diameter and a solid heating core, the cable provides precise power output of 12 W per metre and is suitable for installation under tiles, laminate, wood and marble floors. The twin-conductor design enables single-end connection for easier installation, while FEP inner insulation, PVC outer jacket and integrated aluminum shielding ensure thermal resistance, mechanical protection and reduced electromagnetic interference. The cable is rated IP68 and is intended for both new construction and renovation projects.

How to use

Determine the required cable length based on the heated floor area and desired cable spacing. In standard rooms, a spacing of about 12 cm is commonly used. Calculate approximate cable length by dividing the heated area (m²) by the spacing in metres (for example, 6 m² ÷ 0.12 m = 50 m). Lay the heating cable into tile adhesive, leveling compound or under appropriate floor coverings following local electrical codes. Connect the cable to a compatible thermostat and ensure cold leads and connections are installed according to the manufacturer’s instructions. Test electrical resistance and insulation before covering the cable.

Usage recommendations

Do not install the cable directly under permanent fixtures or areas covered by rugs; always follow local regulations and use a suitable thermostat and floor sensor to control temperature and prevent overheating.
