Calculate cable length by dividing the heated area (m²) by the spacing in metres (for example, 6 m² ÷ 0.12 m = 50 m). Lay the cable in tile adhesive or leveling compound, following the manufacturer’s installation rules and local electrical codes. Connect the twin conductor single-end cable to the thermostat and protective devices; use the 2.5 m cold lead for making the electrical connection. The cable must be controlled by a compatible thermostat to regulate floor temperature and prevent overheating.
