HiSmart LoRa TV990627 is an external omnidirectional antenna for 868 MHz applications, offering 5.8 dBi gain and an approximate 80 cm fiberglass radiator. Designed for LoRaWAN and other LPWAN technologies, it improves reception and transmission range for gateways, repeaters and IoT devices. The antenna uses a vertical polarization and connects via an N-male connector; two U-shaped mounting brackets are included for pole or mast installation.
The antenna provides a moderate gain of 5.8 dBi at 868 MHz to extend communication range while maintaining an omnidirectional pattern for broad coverage. Its fiberglass construction ensures weather resistance for outdoor use, and the included U-shaped brackets simplify mounting on poles up to 51 mm in diameter. The N-male connector allows direct attachment to compatible external antenna ports.
Mount the antenna on a pole or mast using the supplied U-shaped brackets, ensuring the holder diameter does not exceed 51 mm. Connect the antenna to the device’s external antenna port using a suitable cable with an N-female termination (cable sold separately). Position the antenna vertically and clear of large obstructions to optimize omnidirectional coverage. For installations on metal surfaces or vehicle roofs use appropriate mounting hardware and cable routing to avoid signal degradation.
For improved surge protection and long-term reliability, use a compatible lightning arrestor and quality coaxial cable; these accessories are available separately. Verify connector type on your device before purchase to ensure compatibility.
