The HP UltraSlim Docking Station is a side-slide dock designed for select HP EliteBook ultraslim notebooks (including models such as the 820 G1, 840 G1 and 850 G1). It provides a compact, black docking solution that expands display, network and peripheral connectivity to create a ready workspace with a single click slide-in connection.

Advantages

This dock offers a mix of legacy and modern video outputs with two DisplayPort connectors and one VGA port, enabling connection to a variety of monitors and projectors. A Gigabit Ethernet (RJ-45) port delivers reliable wired network access, while four USB 3.0 Type-A ports provide high-speed, backward-compatible data transfer for peripherals. How to use

Slide the compatible HP EliteBook into the dock until it clicks to establish the physical and electrical connection. Connect external monitors to the DisplayPort or VGA outputs as required and plug network cable into the RJ-45 port for wired internet access. Attach USB peripherals to the USB 3.0 ports; devices will operate at USB 3.0 speeds when supported and fall back to USB 2.0 when required. Use the DisplayPort outputs for best video quality when connecting modern monitors. Reserve the VGA port for older displays or projectors.
