Managed Switch Aruba 6000 48G 4SFP L3 Gigabit Ethernet 1U
The Aruba CX 6000 Switch Series is a family of entry-level managed access switches designed for branch offices, midsize businesses, and small enterprises. Built on the Aruba ASIC architecture and running the programmable AOS-CX operating system, the series provides a consistent operator experience across the Aruba CX portfolio. Models include compact and fanless options and offer integrated uplinks and optional Power over Ethernet to support IoT devices, wireless access points and cloud-enabled applications.
The Aruba CX 6000 series delivers enterprise-class Layer 2 switching with support for static routing, ACLs, QoS, traffic prioritization, sFlow and IPv6. Hardware featuring Aruba ASICs provides low latency, increased packet buffering and adaptive power consumption. Built-in uplinks (up to four 1GbE) reduce access-layer bottlenecks, and PoE models supply up to 370 W of Class 4 power to feed multiple powered devices. These switches are fully managed without additional software licensing or subscriptions and offer flexible management via Web GUI, CLI, Aruba NetEdit automation and REST APIs.
Install the switch in a standard 1U rack space or place the compact fanless model in a small workspace. Connect access devices to the Gigabit Ethernet ports and use the built-in uplinks to link to aggregation or core switches. Configure the device using the Web GUI, CLI, Aruba NetEdit or REST APIs according to your network design, applying VLANs, ACLs, QoS policies and static routes as required. If using PoE, verify powered device power requirements and budget against the switch's total PoE capacity.
Use Aruba NetEdit or REST APIs for automated, repeatable configuration across multiple switches; enable appropriate QoS and ACLs to prioritize critical traffic and protect the access layer. For PoE deployments, plan power budgets per port and overall to avoid exceeding the 370 W total on PoE-capable models.
