The Aruba CX 6000 Switch Series is a family of entry-level managed access switches designed for branch offices, midsize businesses, and small enterprises. The series runs the programmable AOS-CX operating system across the Aruba CX portfolio, offering consistent operational behavior. Models include compact fanless options and provide built-in uplinks and up to 370W Class 4 PoE to power devices such as wireless access points and security cameras.

Advantages

The Aruba CX 6000 series provides fully managed Layer 2 switching with optional Layer 3 static routing, ACLs, QoS, sFlow and IPv6 support. Aruba ASIC-based design delivers low latency, larger packet buffering and adaptive power consumption. Multiple form factors (12, 24, 48 ports) with up to four built-in 1GbE uplinks simplify deployment at the access layer. No additional switch software licensing or subscriptions are required, and flexible management options include Web GUI, CLI, Aruba NetEdit and REST APIs for automation.
