The RaidSonic IB-1124L-C3 Storage Drive Docking Station is a USB 3.0 (USB 3.2 Gen 1) docking solution for 2.5" and 3.5" SATA SSDs and HDDs. The compact black enclosure includes a slot for drives up to 25.4 mm thick and supports data transfer rates up to 5 Gbit/s via the USB Type-B host interface. A 100 cm combi-cable with both USB Type-A and Type-C connectors enables flexible connection to a wide range of computers.

How to use

Place the docking station on a flat, stable surface and connect it to the host computer using the supplied combi-cable (insert the Type-B plug into the docking station and use either the Type-A or Type-C end to connect to your computer). Insert a compatible 2.5" or 3.5" SATA drive into the slot until it seats securely; smaller 2.5" drives are held by an internal spring. The blue LED indicates power and drive access. The unit supports Plug & Play and HotSwap, so drives can be inserted or removed while the host is powered on, following safe removal procedures of the operating system.

Usage recommendations

For reliable operation, use the docking station on a stable surface, ensure the drive is properly seated, and always eject drives from the operating system before removal.
