ATEN 2-Port USB DVI KVM Switch with Audio USB DVI 1920x1200
ATEN 2-Port USB DVI KVM Switch with Audio USB DVI 1920x1200
The ATEN 2-Port USB DVI KVM Switch with Audio (model CS682) enables control of two computers with a single USB keyboard, USB mouse and a DVI-D monitor. It supports DVI-D video up to 1920 x 1200 at 60 Hz, provides USB 2.0 peripheral sharing and delivers enhanced bass for 2.1 speaker systems. The compact switch includes a remote port selector that lets you switch between computers from the desktop while the main unit can be placed out of the way.
The CS682 combines DVI video support and USB 2.0 peripheral sharing in a small footprint, reducing desktop clutter. A built-in audio path with improved bass output supports 2.1 speaker setups. The included remote port selector simplifies switching without moving the main unit, and the device operates from a 5 V DC supply with a lightweight, black enclosure.
Connect each computer to the KVM switch using the appropriate DVI-D and USB cables for video and keyboard/mouse. Attach speakers to the audio output if using a 2.1 system, and connect USB peripherals to the USB 2.0 ports for sharing. Power the unit with a 5 V DC adapter. Use the included remote port selector to switch control between the two connected computers from your desktop.
Place the main KVM unit in a ventilated, out-of-the-way location and position the remote port selector within easy reach to reduce desk clutter. Use certified DVI-D and USB 2.0 cables to ensure full video resolution and reliable peripheral performance.
