InLine Internal power adapter 180° ATX 8-pin male to female black

The InLine Internal power adapter 180° ATX 8-pin male to female black is an internal power management component designed to optimize cable routing connections within computer cases. Featuring a 180-degree ATX 8-pin male and female design in a clean black colour, this adapter provides efficient power delivery while improving overall cable organization. Measuring 20 mm in width and 15 mm in height with a lightweight package weight of 12 grams, it is engineered for precise integration into standard PC builds.

Advantages

The adapter enables a space-saving 180-degree rerouting of the power cable, allowing for clean cable management directly at the graphics card PCIe connector. It provides fast installation without the need for complex rewiring, letting users simply couple the plug and socket for immediate redirection. By keeping the connector area tidy, it facilitates better airflow and organization inside the computer case.

Suitable for

• Rerouting internal power cables in compact computer cases
• Improving cable management near the graphics card PCIe connector
• Professional IT environments and on-site hardware installations
• Quick service operations requiring adapter integration without rewiring

When it may not be suitable

This adapter may not be suitable for computer setups that do not use an 8-pin PCIe power connection or where clearance around the socket prevents the physical attachment of a 180-degree block. It is exclusively designed for internal PC power routing and cannot be used for external connections.

Key specifications

• Connector type: 8-pin PCIe plug and socket
• Form factor: 180-degree adapter
• Application: Internal graphics card power connection
• Product colour: Black
• Width: 20 mm
• Height: 15 mm

How to use

To use the adapter, first ensure that the computer system is powered off and unplugged from the main electrical supply. Inspect the 8-pin PCIe keying on both your power cable and the target component to ensure correct orientation. Couple the male plug of the adapter directly into the female port, and then connect your power cable to the adapter's socket. Press firmly to establish a secure and flush connection before powering the system back on.

What to consider before purchase

• Verify that your graphics card or power supply uses an 8-pin PCIe connection
• Check the available clearance space around the power connector inside your PC case
• Confirm the orientation requirements of the 8-pin keying in your specific setup

Usage recommendations

Always verify the correct orientation of the 8-pin PCIe keying before connecting the adapter to prevent mismatched connections. Ensure that the system is completely powered off during installation to avoid electrical damage to internal components.
