The InLine SFP Module Fiber LX is a small form-factor pluggable (SFP) 1000BASE-LX transceiver operating at a 1310 nm wavelength. It supports singlemode fiber links up to 10 km and provides full-duplex Gigabit connectivity with a 1.25 Gb/s transmission rate. The module uses LC connectors and is compatible with InLine network equipment such as the Article 32324P InLine® PoE+ Gigabit Network Switch 24 Port, enabling straightforward integration for network expansion and upgrades.
This SFP module offers reliable singlemode optical transmission up to 10 km, a standard LC interface for broad compatibility, and a 1.25 Gb/s data rate suitable for Gigabit Ethernet links. Its small form-factor design allows easy hot-plug installation into SFP ports and helps maintain full-duplex performance for point-to-point fiber connections.
Insert the SFP module into a compatible SFP slot on your switch or router until it clicks into place. Connect a singlemode LC fiber cable to the module's LC connector, ensuring proper transmit/receive alignment. The module supports hot-plugging, but verify device compatibility and allow the network device to detect and initialize the transceiver. Configure the connected devices for Gigabit full-duplex operation as required by your network setup.
Use singlemode fiber with LC connectors and maintain clean connector end faces to ensure optimal signal quality. Confirm compatibility with the target switch or router firmware and follow ESD precautions when handling the SFP module. For distances close to the 10 km limit, verify link quality and consider attenuation and connector loss when planning the link.
