InLine® industrial network cable M12 4-pin D-coded to RJ45, 3 m length, designed for reliable data transmission in harsh industrial environments. The cable features D-coded CAT5E performance for data rates up to 100 Mbit/s, a PUR jacket that is flame-retardant (UL 94), oil- and UV-resistant, abrasion-resistant and halogen-free, an IP67-rated M12 4-pin D-coded male connector and an IP20 RJ45 connector. The construction is optimized for automation and fieldbus applications, with suitability for drag chains and torsion use in demanding mechanical and production settings.
The PUR sheath provides chemical and mechanical resistance while remaining halogen-free and flame-retardant. The M12 D-coded connector with IP67 protection ensures reliable operation in damp or dusty environments, and the RJ45 (IP20) end allows connection to standard industrial network equipment. The cable is built for long-term dynamic use, offering drag chain suitability up to 10 million bends and torsion resistance up to 3 million cycles, ensuring stable signal transmission in moving applications.
Connect the M12 4-pin D-coded male plug to the corresponding M12 socket on industrial devices and insert the RJ45 connector into the network port or patch panel. Ensure connectors are properly engaged and, where applicable, secure threaded connections on the M12 side. Route the cable following the recommended bending radius and secure it to prevent excessive strain. Use shield termination according to your installation practice to maintain EMC performance.
For long-term reliability, avoid bending below the specified dynamic radius and limit exposure to temperatures outside the stated operating range. When used in moving applications, confirm drag chain ratings in your specific system and perform regular inspections for abrasion or connector wear.
