The InLine KVM switch connects two computers to a single HDMI monitor, keyboard and mouse, enabling control of two PCs from one workspace. This 2-port HDMI 2.1 KVM supports high-resolution video up to 8K@60Hz and 4K@144Hz, modern HDR formats and shares USB 3.2 Gen 1 peripherals between both systems. It is designed for office, home office and professional IT environments and includes required cables, power supply and mounting accessories.

How to use

Connect both computers to the KVM using the supplied HDMI and USB-A-to-USB-B cables, and connect the monitor, keyboard and mouse to the HDMI output and USB host ports. Use the supplied external 12 V/1 A power adapter to power the unit. Switch between connected computers using the front-panel buttons, keyboard hotkeys, the included IR remote control with the IR receiver cable, or via RS-232 commands when integrated into a control system. Attach mounting brackets if rack or desk mounting is required; the package includes necessary screws and a terminal connector.

Usage recommendations

For best video performance use high-quality HDMI 2.1 cables and keep cable lengths according to recommendations: up to 2 m for full 8K/4K@120Hz, up to 5 m for Ultra HDMI 2.1, and up to 10 m for 1080p with standard cable. Disable hotkey USB mode if full USB 3.2 Gen 1 speeds are required for shared peripherals.
