InLine 57885P KVM Extender Transmitter and Receiver Set HDMI 4K at 60Hz Cat.6 Wired 70 m Black
The InLine 57885P KVM Extender Transmitter and Receiver Set is a high-performance solution designed to transmit uncompressed HDMI 2.0b signals alongside USB control data over a single wired network cable. Utilizing advanced Cat.6 or Cat.6a cabling, this black metal set enables reliable signal extension up to a maximum distance of 70 meters. It supports stunning 4K resolutions at 60Hz with full 4:4:4 colour subsampling and high bandwidth up to 18 Gb/s, ensuring that visual fidelity is preserved across long distances. Equipped with local HDMI loop-out ports, stereo audio outputs, and integrated USB ports for keyboards and mice on the receiver unit, this system facilitates seamless remote device management for professional audio-visual and IT applications.
This extender set delivers exceptional signal stability for ultra-high-definition content, supporting modern HDCP 2.2 encryption and various HDR formats including HDR10, HDR10+, Dolby Vision, and HLG. The inclusion of an integrated KVM function allows operators to manage a remote source computer directly from the display location without needing extra hardware. Power over Cable functionality means that only one of the two units requires an external power supply, considerably streamlining installation and reducing clutter. Furthermore, the durable metal housing provides robust mechanical protection and effective heat dissipation, making it well-suited for continuous daily operation in demanding professional environments.
This device is not designed for wireless transmission environments, as it requires a dedicated physical wired Cat.6 or Cat.6a copper connection between the transmitter and receiver units. It is also unsuitable for multi-display video wall matrices that require independent source switching or IP-based network routing through standard local network switches, as it operates strictly on a point-to-point connection basis.
To set up the system, connect your HDMI source device such as a computer or media player to the HDMI input port on the transmitter unit, and connect the included USB cable between the source and the transmitter's USB-B port for KVM functionality. Connect your display to the HDMI output on the receiver unit, and plug your keyboard and mouse into the designated USB-A ports on the receiver. Run a single Cat.6 or Cat.6a network cable between the RJ45 port of the transmitter and the RJ45 port of the receiver. Finally, connect the supplied power adapter to either the transmitter or the receiver unit, and the Power over Cable feature will supply power to the remaining unit automatically.
For optimal performance and stable long-distance signal transmission, always use high-grade solid copper Cat.6 or Cat.6a network cables and avoid running the cabling parallel to high-voltage electrical lines to prevent electromagnetic interference.
