The InLine KVM Desktop Switch is designed to control two multimedia computers using one workstation with two monitors (1x HDMI and 1x DisplayPort), a single USB keyboard and a USB mouse. This dual-monitor HDMI/DP KVM switch supports up to 3840x2160 (4K) at 60Hz per monitor, includes 2-channel stereo audio and microphone switching, and provides two additional USB 3.0 (USB 3.2 Gen 1) Type-A ports for peripherals. Multi-platform support covers PC and Mac environments.

How to use

Connect each computer to the KVM switch using the supplied KVM cable sets: one computer to the DisplayPort and HDMI inputs as required, and the other computer similarly. Attach the console monitors to the DisplayPort and HDMI console outputs, and connect the USB keyboard and USB mouse to the console USB ports. Plug in the DC 12V power supply. Switch between computers using the device controls or the supported hotkey sequence from the designated console USB port.

Recommendations

Use the InLine KVM Desktop Switch in office or home office environments and for monitoring or controlling multiple computers from a single workstation. Do not use with gaming keyboards or mice that rely on programmable special keys, and avoid gaming monitors with refresh rates of 120 Hz or higher, as these are not supported.
