KVM Extender InLine 64601 4K HDMI USB over IP up to 100m

The InLine 64601 4K HDMI USB over IP KVM Extender consists of a Transmitter and a Receiver that work together to extend HDMI video, audio and USB signals over an active Gigabit LAN. The units can be connected directly with a CATx cable or via a Gigabit Ethernet switch. Using CATx cabling, video transmission is possible up to 100 m while maintaining high image quality. The extender supports up to 3840 x 2160 (4K) at 60 Hz with multi-channel audio and is suitable for applications such as control rooms, demo rooms, exhibition spaces and other professional installations. Multiple transmitters and receivers allow point-to-point, point-to-multipoint and video wall configurations.

Advantages

The device delivers 4K video over a 1 Gbit network with very low latency (about one frame), supports HDMI 2.0 and HDCP 2.2, and carries up to 7.1-channel audio including LPCM, DTS and Dolby formats. Hybrid video output lets each receiver choose an independent output format. Additional features include HDMI loopback on the transmitter, USB 2.0 pass-through for KVM applications, HDMI audio extraction to 2-channel analog output, adjustable maximum bitrate, video snapshot, web-based management and serial/HTTPS/Telnet command control. How to use

Install the transmitter near the HDMI source and connect HDMI In to the source; use the HDMI loop-out on the transmitter for a local monitor if required. Place the receiver at the remote location and connect its HDMI Out to the display. Link transmitter and receiver with a CATx cable or through a Gigabit Ethernet switch. Connect USB peripherals to the receiver’s USB Type-A ports; the transmitter provides a USB Type-B device port for KVM use. Power both units with their DC 5 V adapters. Configure channel selection with the DIP switch and manage settings via the web interface, RS‑232, HTTPS or Telnet as needed.

Usage recommendations

For best performance, use quality shielded CAT6 or CAT6a cabling and a proper Gigabit switch for multi-receiver setups; ensure source and display support the desired 4K@60Hz and HDCP 2.2 formats. Keep operating temperature within the specified range and avoid exposure to high humidity.
