The InLine Media Converter 66659D converts copper Ethernet (RJ45) to single-mode fiber (SFP, LC duplex) to extend or migrate existing networks with a maximum data rate of 1000 Mbit/s. Compliant with IEEE 802.3 standards, it provides one 10/100/1000Base-T RJ45 port and one SFP slot for 1000Base-FX single-mode connections up to 20 km at 1310 nm. The compact black housing is suitable for desktop installation and allows administrators to connect remote segments or link buildings without changing existing copper cabling.
