The InLine 66659F network media converter converts electrical copper signals from twisted-pair (RJ45) to optical fibre (SFP) for 10 Gb/s links, enabling cost-effective migration or expansion of existing networks. It supports singlemode fibre connections up to 10 km and includes an SFP module pre-installed. The device is supplied with a 12V DC/1A external power adapter and mounting brackets for wall installation.

Mount the media converter using the supplied brackets or place it on a stable surface. Insert the pre-installed SFP module into the SFP port and connect the singlemode fibre cable to the SFP. Use Link Fault Pass Through (LFP) to assist troubleshooting and to propagate link status between fibre and copper sides.
