The cable is intended for LAN data networks and supports Gigabit Ethernet and Fast Ethernet connections between switches, routers, hubs, network cards, print servers and other active or passive network devices. The red design and slim profile allow routing the cable in tight or visible spaces such as behind furniture, skirting boards, door jambs or under carpets, and inside racks where its flat profile helps maintain air circulation and easier access to sockets and cables.
