Flat patch cable InLine Cat.6A U/FTP, RJ-45–RJ-45, 1 m, black
Flat patch cable InLine Cat.6A U/FTP, RJ-45–RJ-45, 1 m, black is a slim network connection cable designed for high-speed Ethernet applications where space is limited. The cable uses U/FTP construction with individually foil-shielded pairs to reduce alien crosstalk and electromagnetic interference, and terminates in RJ-45 connectors at both ends. With a 1 m length and a flat profile, this Cat6A patch cable is suitable for use under carpets, along skirting boards, between patch panels and devices, or in other narrow routing paths while supporting 10 Gigabit Ethernet performance.
The flat design minimizes cable height for discreet routing in confined spaces and reduces the risk of bumps or snags. U/FTP shielding around each twisted pair improves signal integrity by lowering pair-to-pair interference and external EMI. Gold-plated RJ-45 contacts ensure reliable connectivity and corrosion resistance. The black jacket provides a neutral appearance suitable for residential and commercial installations.
Insert each RJ-45 connector into the corresponding network port until the latch clicks, ensuring a secure mechanical and electrical connection. Route the flat cable along the desired path, keeping bends gentle and avoiding sharp kinks. When running under carpets or along skirting boards, position the cable so it is not subject to heavy foot traffic or crushing forces. If used in patch panels or rack-mounted equipment, allow enough slack for equipment movement and maintenance.
For best performance, avoid running the cable parallel and in close proximity to power lines or sources of strong electromagnetic interference. Use proper strain relief at connector ends when securing the cable in place, and inspect connections periodically to ensure continued performance in high-density environments.
