InLine Patch cable Cat.6A S/FTP PUR industrial black 5m
InLine Patch cable Cat.6A S/FTP PUR industrial black 5m
The InLine Patch cable Cat.6A S/FTP PUR industrial black 5m is a shielded Ethernet patch cord designed for demanding industrial environments. With Category 6A performance and S/FTP shielding, the cable supports high-speed network connections and reduces electromagnetic interference. The robust PUR outer jacket and factory-terminated RJ-45 plugs with gold-plated contacts provide mechanical durability and reliable signal transmission for long-term use in production floors, control cabinets and machine-to-machine cabling.
The S/FTP (screened foil with individually shielded pairs) construction improves data integrity by protecting twisted pairs from crosstalk and external noise. Cat.6A bandwidth capability enables stable operation at up to 10 Gbit/s for short to medium cable runs. The PUR jacket offers resistance to abrasion, oils and chemicals commonly found in industrial settings, while the molded connectors and gold-plated contacts ensure low contact resistance and corrosion protection.
Connect one RJ-45 plug to the Ethernet port of a network device and the other plug to the corresponding port on a switch, router or industrial controller. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until the latch engages to maintain a secure electrical and mechanical connection. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and pinch points; maintain the manufacturer’s recommended bend radius for Cat.6A cables to preserve signal integrity. When terminating near other power or signal cables, use the cable’s shielding and routing practices to minimize interference.
For optimal performance in industrial installations, keep cable lengths within recommended run limits for 10 Gbit/s operation, avoid repeated flexing at connector ends, and secure the cable with appropriate clamps or cable ties that do not compress the outer jacket. Regularly inspect connectors for contamination or corrosion and replace damaged cables to maintain network reliability.
