The InLine 74905 networking cable is a slim, 5 m Cat.6A S/FTP patch cable with RJ‑45 plugs designed for high-density network cabinets and server rooms. With AWG28 copper conductors and full Cat.6A transmission up to 500 MHz, it supports data rates up to 10 Gbit/s over distances up to 30 m. The cable features S/FTP double shielding, a flexible TPE (LSZH) jacket and PoE support up to 87 watts (4PPoE).

Advantages

The slim design requires approximately 40% less space than conventional AWG26 patch cables, enabling higher port density and improved airflow in racks. High-quality copper conductors and S/FTP shielding reduce signal loss and protect against electromagnetic interference, ensuring reliable 10 Gbit/s connections. The TPE LSZH sheath is flame-retardant and halogen-free for safer use in enclosed spaces, and the reduced material usage (≈25%) lowers transport and manufacturing impact while improving the CO₂ balance. PoE support up to 87 W allows powering devices such as cameras and access points without separate power supplies.
