InLine Patch Cable S/FTP PiMF Cat.6 250MHz PVC CCA white 0.5m is a shielded Cat.6 patch cable designed for connecting network components with RJ45 sockets. The 0.5 m cable supports Gigabit Ethernet (10/100/1000Base-TX) and operation up to 250 MHz, providing reliable data transmission between switches, routers, sockets, patch panels and network cards. Construction uses PVC jacket and copper-clad aluminium (CCA) conductors with S/FTP (screened foil with individually foil‑shielded pairs) to reduce electromagnetic interference.
The S/FTP PiMF shielding lowers crosstalk and external interference, improving signal integrity for short interconnections. Its Cat.6 specification and 250 MHz rating ensure compatibility with Gigabit Ethernet. The compact 0.5 m length minimises excess cable in rack or desktop setups, and standard RJ‑45 connectors provide plug‑and‑play compatibility with common networking equipment.
Insert each RJ‑45 connector into the corresponding port on your network devices until the latch clicks. Use this 0.5 m patch cable for short-distance connections inside racks, between wall sockets and devices, or on desktops. Ensure both devices support 10/100/1000Base‑T(X) for Gigabit speeds. Avoid sharp bends and excessive tension on the cable to maintain shielding effectiveness and connector integrity.
For best performance, keep the cable length appropriate for short patching and avoid running it parallel to mains power cables. Verify that your installation requires CCA conductors, as performance and grounding differ from pure copper cables; use pure copper cables where local standards or PoE power delivery require it.
