Patch cable InLine S/FTP PiMF Cat.6 250MHz PVC copper transparent 20 m
Patch cable InLine S/FTP PiMF Cat.6 250MHz PVC copper transparent 20 m
InLine S/FTP PiMF Cat.6 patch cable, 250 MHz, 20 m. This shielded Ethernet cable features S/FTP (S‑STP) construction with paired-in-metal-foil (PiMF) shielding, copper conductors and a PVC jacket. Both ends are terminated with RJ45 connectors. The cable is designed for Gigabit Ethernet and structured cabling in offices and homes, and supports data transmission up to 1 Gbps at a maximum frequency of 250 MHz.
The S/FTP PiMF design combines an overall braided shield with individual foil around each pair to reduce electromagnetic interference and improve crosstalk protection. Copper conductors ensure stable signal transmission, while the PVC outer jacket provides mechanical protection and easy handling. RJ45 terminations on both ends allow direct connection to switches, routers, sockets, patch panels and network cards.
Uncoil the patch cable and route it along the intended path avoiding sharp bends and sources of strong electromagnetic interference. Plug the RJ45 connectors into the corresponding ports on devices such as switches, routers, patch panels or network sockets. Ensure connectors click into place to confirm a secure connection. For permanent installations, secure the cable with appropriate fasteners while avoiding excessive compression of the jacket.
For optimal performance, keep cable runs within recommended lengths for horizontal connections and avoid placing the cable alongside high-voltage power lines. Use the shielded design where EMI is a concern or in installations with mixed-signal equipment. Do not exceed the cable’s rated bending radius and avoid repeated tight bends to preserve signal integrity.
