InLine Patch Cable S/FTP PiMF Cat.6 250MHz PVC copper green 0.5m
The InLine Patch Cable S/FTP PiMF Cat.6 250MHz PVC copper green 0.5m is a short Cat.6 patch cable designed for connecting network components with RJ45 ports, such as switches, routers, wall sockets, patch panels and network cards. It supports Gigabit Ethernet (up to 1 Gbps) and a maximum frequency of 250 MHz. The cable has S/FTP (shielded Foiled Twisted Pair with overall braid) construction and PVC outer jacket, and is fitted with RJ-45 connectors on both ends for immediate use.
The S/FTP PiMF Cat.6 design provides improved protection against electromagnetic interference and crosstalk compared with unshielded cables, which helps maintain stable data transfer at Gigabit speeds. Its 0.5 m length is suitable for short patching tasks in racks or patch panels, and the green PVC jacket improves visibility and cable identification in dense installations. Standard RJ-45 connectors ensure compatibility with common network devices.
Plug one RJ-45 connector into the network device or patch panel port and the other into the corresponding port of the target device. Ensure connectors are fully seated until the latch clicks. Use the cable for short patching runs where a 0.5 m length is sufficient, avoiding sharp bends and excessive strain on the connectors. No additional termination is required.
For optimal performance, route the cable away from strong electromagnetic sources (large electric motors, fluorescent ballast) and avoid running it in parallel with mains power lines. Use the green colour to mark specific circuits or functions in your cabling layout and replace the cable if the jacket or connectors become damaged.
