InLine Patch Cable S/FTP PiMF Cat.6 250MHz PVC copper transparent 0.5m
InLine Patch Cable S/FTP PiMF Cat.6 250MHz PVC copper transparent 0.5m
The InLine Patch Cable S/FTP PiMF Cat.6 250MHz PVC copper transparent 0.5m is a 0.5 metre Cat.6 patch lead designed for connecting network devices with RJ45 ports, such as switches, routers, wall sockets, patch panels and network cards. It supports Gigabit Ethernet (1 Gbps) and is rated for operation up to 250 MHz. The cable features S/FTP (shielded foil around each pair plus overall braid) and pair-in-metal-foil (PiMF) construction to reduce electromagnetic interference. The transparent PVC jacket provides mechanical protection while showing the internal copper conductors and pair structure.
The S/FTP PiMF design offers enhanced protection against near-end and far-end crosstalk and external electromagnetic interference, improving signal integrity for Gigabit connections. The Cat.6 specification and 250 MHz rating ensure compatibility with 1 Gbps networks. RJ45 connectors on both ends provide straightforward plug-and-play connectivity. The transparent PVC sheath delivers basic abrasion resistance and allows visual inspection of the internal wiring.
Plug one RJ45 connector into the network device (switch, router, network card or wall socket) and the other connector into the corresponding port of the connected device. Ensure connectors are fully seated until the latch clicks to secure the connection. Use the cable for short patching runs inside racks, between nearby devices or where a 0.5 m length is required. Avoid sharp bends and kinks to maintain signal quality.
For best results, route the cable away from strong sources of electromagnetic interference (large electric motors, fluorescent ballasts or unshielded power cables). Do not exceed the intended mechanical bending radius and avoid repeated flexing. Verify compatibility with your network hardware and replace the cable if connectors or jacket show damage.
