The InLine Patch Cable S/FTP PiMF Cat.6 250MHz PVC copper blue 50m is a Category 6 twisted-pair network cable intended for connecting network components with RJ45 interfaces, such as switches, routers, wall sockets, patch panels and network cards. The 50 m length and blue PVC jacket make it suitable for structured cabling and horizontal patching in offices and server rooms where Gigabit speed is required.
The cable uses S/FTP (shielded foiled twisted pair with overall braid) and PiMF construction to reduce electromagnetic interference and crosstalk, supporting reliable data transmission up to 250 MHz and Gigabit Ethernet (10/100/1000Base-T). Both ends are fitted with RJ-45 connectors and the PVC outer jacket offers mechanical protection and flexibility for installation.
Measure and route the cable between network components, avoiding tight bends and sources of strong electromagnetic interference where possible. Terminate the ends into RJ-45 ports on switches, routers, sockets or network cards. For fixed installations, secure the cable along trays or cable management systems and leave service loops to allow movement or reconfiguration. Test the link with a network tester to verify continuity, correct wiring and Gigabit performance.
For optimum performance, avoid running the S/FTP cable in parallel with high-voltage power lines and maintain bend radius greater than four times the cable diameter. Use this Cat.6 cable for Gigabit connections and structured wiring where shielding is required to reduce interference.
