This InLine Patch Cable S/FTP PiMF Cat.6A halogen free 500MHz in orange and 5 m length is a shielded network patch cable designed for high-speed Ethernet connections. It supports frequencies up to 500 MHz, uses gold-plated RJ-45 connectors on both ends and features S/FTP (shielded foil around each pair with overall braid) and Pair in Metal Foil (PiMF) construction to reduce crosstalk and external interference. The halogen-free jacket limits toxic gas emission in the event of fire and the bright orange colour increases visibility in patch panels and cabling runs.
The cable’s S/FTP PiMF shielding provides improved protection against electromagnetic interference and near-end crosstalk compared with unshielded alternatives, helping to maintain signal integrity at higher frequencies.
