InLine Patch Cable S/FTP PiMF Cat.6A halogen free 500MHz red 1.5m
InLine Patch Cable S/FTP PiMF Cat.6A halogen free 500MHz red 1.5m
The InLine Patch Cable S/FTP PiMF Cat.6A halogen free 500MHz in red, 1.5 m, is a high-performance network patch cable intended for professional cabling in data centers and server racks. It supports transmission up to 500 MHz and is constructed to meet Cat.6A requirements for Gigabit and 10 Gigabit networks. The halogen-free jacket reduces toxic gas and smoke in case of fire, and the S/FTP PiMF shielding provides improved protection against electromagnetic interference. Gold-plated RJ-45 connectors ensure stable contact and long-term durability.
The S/FTP PiMF Cat.6A design combines individual pair foil and overall braided shielding to minimize crosstalk and external interference, supporting reliable high-speed data transfer. The 1.5 m length is suitable for short interconnections in racks and cabinets. A halogen-free outer jacket increases safety in enclosed spaces, while gold-plated RJ-45 plugs enhance corrosion resistance and signal integrity. The red colour helps with visual identification and cabling organization.
Connect one RJ-45 plug to the network device or patch panel port and the other plug to the corresponding port on the switch, server, or endpoint. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until they click to secure the connection. For best performance, avoid tight bends and sharp kinks; maintain the cable bend radius recommended for Cat.6A cabling. Use appropriate cable management in racks and patch panels to prevent strain on the connectors.
For optimal signal integrity, use the cable for short to medium patching distances within racks and cabinets and avoid routing alongside high-power electrical cables. Verify compatibility with your network hardware and follow site safety rules for halogen-free cabling during installation.
