InLine Patch Cable S/FTP PiMF Cat.6 250MHz 15m
The InLine Patch Cable S/FTP PiMF Cat.6 250MHz 15m is a 15-metre, halogen-free network patch cable designed for connecting network components with RJ45 ports. It supports gigabit Ethernet (10/100/1000Base-T) and operates up to 250 MHz. The cable uses S/FTP (shielded foiled twisted pair with overall braid) construction with pair-wise foil (PiMF) to reduce electromagnetic interference and ensure stable high-speed data transmission. Both ends are fitted with standard RJ-45 connectors and the cable is finished in yellow for easy identification.
The S/FTP PiMF shielding provides enhanced protection against crosstalk and external interference, improving signal integrity for gigabit connections. The halogen-free sheath reduces hazardous emissions in case of fire and meets safety requirements for installations where low smoke and toxicity are important. At 15 metres length the cable is suitable for typical patching between devices in racks, cabinets, and desktop setups while the Cat.6 rating and 250 MHz bandwidth support reliable 1 Gbps performance.
Connect one RJ-45 connector to the network port of your switch, router, patch panel or network card and the other connector to the corresponding device or wall socket. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until the clip clicks to establish a secure connection. Avoid tight bending and kinking of the cable; maintain the manufacturer’s recommended bend radius to preserve transmission performance. For best results route the cable away from high-power electrical lines and strong sources of electromagnetic interference.
For structured installations, test the cable link after installation to verify Cat.6 performance at gigabit speeds. Use labelled or colour-coded cables to simplify maintenance and replacement; the yellow colour of this cable assists visual identification in patch bays.
