InLine Patch cable S/FTP PiMf Cat.8.1 2000MHz halogen-free red 3m
The InLine Patch cable S/FTP PiMf Cat.8.1 2000MHz halogen-free red 3m is a high-bandwidth network cable designed for demanding Ethernet environments. This Cat.8.1 cable uses S/FTP (shielded with individually foil-wrapped pairs) construction and supports frequencies up to 2000 MHz. It is manufactured from halogen-free materials and terminated with RJ-45 connectors on both ends, offering backward compatibility with lower-category ports while preserving high-speed performance for data center or professional LAN installations.
The S/FTP PiMf design reduces alien crosstalk and electromagnetic interference, providing stable transmission for high-speed applications. A 2000 MHz bandwidth supports current and emerging high-frequency requirements, while the halogen-free jacket improves safety in confined spaces by reducing toxic gas emissions in case of fire. The 3 m length and standard RJ-45 terminations make the cable simple to install between devices and patch panels without additional adapters. The red colour aids in visual identification and cable management.
Connect one RJ-45 end to the network device (switch, router or NIC) and the other end to the corresponding patch panel or another device. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until the latch clicks to secure the connection. For optimal performance, avoid sharp bends, heavy kinking or placing the cable near strong sources of electromagnetic interference despite the shielding. Use cable management accessories to keep runs neat and prevent strain on the connector ends.
For maximum longevity and performance, route the cable with smooth curves, maintain bend radii greater than the manufacturer’s minimum (typically several times the cable diameter), and avoid running the cable tightly alongside power lines. When deploying in rack environments, label the red cable ends for quick identification and reserve Cat.8.1 runs for short, high-speed links where low latency and reduced crosstalk are required.
